As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of our school, it fills me with immense joy to reflect on the journey we have travelled together. During the past decade and a half, we have grown from a small institution to a vibrant community that is home to outstanding academic achievements, sports accomplishments and an endearing commitment to holistic development.
The vision of our founder Mr.Upul Daranagama was the pursuit of high standards in discipline, academic and Intrinsic human values, that when contained produces a well-rounded individual. With academics, sports and extra-curricular activities, our dedicated teachers and innovative curriculum have fostered a culture of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and academic rigour. Many of our alumni have gone on to join prestigious universities and institutions around the world, becoming leaders in various fields.
Beyond the classroom, our sports program has also flourished, with our students excelling in a wide range of sports, from athletics and basketball, to football and swimming. Our teams have brought many trophies back in the events they participated. These achievements are not just about winning competitions, but about the values that sports instill – team work, resilience, leadership and discipline.
As we celebrate 15 years of success we look forward to the future with a clear vision. The world is rapidly changing, and we are committed to stay at the forefront of educational innovation to prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Our future plans are guided by a commitment to incorporating cutting-edge educational practices that align with modern developments in learning, such as personalized learning, STEAM programs, Hybrid learning Global citizenship education and emotional and social well-being.
As we mark 15 years of our schools’ journey, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Chairman Mr Upul Daranagama, our dedicated staff, supportive parents and most importantly, our exceptional students, who inspire us every day. Together we have built a school that is not only known for academics and sports excellence but also for its commitment to developing well-rounded, thoughtful, responsible citizens. Let us continue this journey together, striving for even greater heights as we prepare the next generation of leaders, thinkers and changemakers.
