D Vinuthi Siyansa Meegoda, representing Horizon College International, demonstrated remarkable skill by securing the first runner-up position in the World School Under 07 Girls’ Chess Championship. Competing against 33 players, Siyansa scored an impressive 7.5/9 points to clinch the silver medal. As well as she won 2nd runner up both Blitz and Rapid Events in World school chess championship 2024.She is the only one who got 3medals and 3trophies by all the events among the Sri Lankan participants
