The Singer Trophy – Sri Lanka Schools U 19 Cricket Tournament
The Singer Trophy – Sri Lanka Schools U 19 Cricket tournament match played against St Joseph’s College Nugegoda at Irrigation Grounds Ratmalana on 5th April 2021 was won by Horizon College International. We congratulate our team on this magnificent victory.
HCI won the toss and decided to field first. St. Joseph’s scored 118 all out in 38.2 overs and Horizon College scored 119 for 9 wickets in 45.2 overs. Onray Perera from St. Joshep’s College scored 43 runs in 43 balls including 3 4’s and 3 6’s.HCI players – Thisaga Vinujana scored 20 runs in 51 balls including 2 4’s. Sanu Abeyratne scored 19 runs in 46 balls including 2 4’s. Sathnidu Jayadheera scored 18 runs in 52 balls including 2 4’s .
HCI Bowlers Pasan Maleesha got 3 wickets in 22 runs , Chethika Darren got 2 wickets in 8 runs and Thisaga Vinujana got 2 wickets in 23 runs. Onray Perera from St. Joshep’s College got 3 wickets in 19 runs.
