Dear Parents,
As always, Language Matters has given thought to the current education situation for the children and have adjusted their program content to keep children engaged in a positive learning approach.
Classes are according to the school syllabus expectation levels and this term will take into account the following in particular, according to age category:
- Letter sounds and recognition (for early years)
- Digraphs (example OA / AI – like in boat / sail
- Alternative spellings (example IE / IGH / I-E / Y – like in tie / thigh / nine / my)
- Letter formation with engaging techniques
- Tricky words / high frequency words
- Reading
- Spelling
- Writing
- Grammar
- General knowledge
New comers are welcome as reference will be made to past lessons as required.
We are making the best of online tools to make the classes interactive to keep online learning fun and engaging with songs, games, quizzes, general knowledge videos etc…
Classes will be held in small numbers to give individual attention and will be held online until physical school starts, mostly on Thursdays using the school platform MS Teams. The sessions will also be recorded, so if you miss out on a class, the child can watch the video at a convenient time.
Class times and schedules will be shared once the fees are paid. Registrations will close on Wednesday the 22nd of September (thanking you in advance for a timely payment to enable the smooth operations of admin behind the scenes).
English term fee for all year groups is only Rs 6500
